Belgium vs. Norway

While many countries throughout the world, including in Europe, struggle with radicalism in their immigrant populations, Belgium has something of a concentrated problem. This in-depth piece gives interesting insight into the factors that have shaped Belgium’s particular struggles with assimilation for, particularly Muslim, immigrants.

On the other hand, Norway offers classes for their new immigrants to help them transition to a very different kind of life, particularly in terms of how women are treated. Hopefully Norway’s approachwill work, it seems promising if awkward to implement.
