Political Assassinations in Russia

Long a feature of high-level politics in Russia, over the last few decades accusations of political assassination have been relatively rare, though often more notable for the manner of death employed (famously the use of a radioactive poison to kill a dissident living in London) than the number of people dying. It seems, however, that the rate of high-level deaths of those less than supportive of the government regimes is increasing, thus raising fears and accusations of the consequences of speaking out against Russia.
